Buena Vista is above all a case of ‘love at first sight’ for the Verdon, but also an adventure between friends: Thank you Ronan, Kiki, Xav, Grand Eric, Nono and Gaëlle, L'Olive, Domi and Isa, Loïc, Tof, Romain as well as all the others... and then there’s us: Jeanfi and Sandrine.
Twenty years ago we fell in love with this valley and so in 2003 we set up our own white-water sports company, Buena Vista Rafting. We wanted to share our passion with you and demonstrate how the Verdon is not a playground but a magnificent place to be explored and respected.
I do however remain very attached to my Brittany roots which goes to explain my choice of logo: the triskell. As for our slogan: "Sport and Nature in the Gorges of Verdon", this is of course Jeanfi’s saying, who is the company boss and your river guide.
Unlike most other companies, you will not find us in the centre of the village. A few years ago, we moved out of our shop in order to set up and welcome you to a lovely base camp.
So come and join us on site, at the entrance of the craft zone. Exit the village, direction Grasse and turn on the left just in front of the camping " Framboiseilles"
Here, you'll find a super friendly and motivated team of fully-qualified guides, toilets, a solar shower, picnic area, as well as a large private and secure car park.
Of course, we still have our dream-team: Jfi, Alexis, Titi, Kévin, and Lila amongst others.
Lucile, alias "Lulu" is our luxury chauffeur and I am the voice on the phone.
We all speak English! Or in any case, we try to... JeanFi still tries speaking Spanish to our Italians and I speak Italian with my hands...
