Saint-Auban is an action-packed canyon. Over thousands of years, the river has carved a spectacular, deep geological fault where your progression is dynamically paced by a powerful water flow.

This is a more physical and sporty route where we frequently utilize safety guide-ropes (mains courantes) to safely navigate the aquatic obstacles. It is the perfect choice for anyone who already has a first taste of outdoor sports, or for active individuals in search of pure adrenaline.

Trip Itinerary & Logistics

1. Meeting Point : Rendez-vous directly on-site next to the canyon in the village of Saint-Auban (06850), located a 40-minute drive away from Castellane. Please note that we do not provide group transport vehicles for canyoning activities.

1. The Launch : Meet up with Alex, your expert canyoning guide. After distributing your premium technical gear and conducting a thorough safety briefing, we jump straight into the action. Everything is set up here for you to experience a phenomenal adventure!
2. 2 Hours of Pure Thrills and Adrenaline : The descent begins instantly with a fun introductory water slide, and the action doesn't stop:

- A continuous succession of deep-pool jumps (up to 6 to 8 meters maximum).

- Technical vertical rope abseils right through the waterfalls.

- An exhilarating 40-meter-long canyon zipline (tyrolean traverse) ending with a splash.

- Active white water swimming, river slaloms, and extra waterslides.

1. The Return : A short, easy 10-minute exit walk brings us straight back to the vehicles left at the starting point.

 Important Regulation, Prerequisites & Gear Info

1. Strict Authorized Days : Due to local environmental regulations, this canyon is strictly open and practicable only on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.
2. Physical Requirements : While this tour is fully accessible to active beginners, you must possess a good physical fitness level and must not be prone to severe vertigo or fear of heights. Crucially, every participant must be capable of executing a mandatory minimum jump of 3.5 meters.
3. Information needed : Please make sure to communicate the height, weight, and shoe size of each participant beforehand so we can prepare your custom neoprene gear package.
4. Footwear Notice : Sturdy, closed-toe shoes are absolutely mandatory. Please wear an old pair of lace-up running shoes or athletic trainers that will go into the water. Thin aqua slippers or plastic beach shoes are strictly forbidden on this type of technical canyon route.
